Dear Fathers and Brothers

Here are the photos of the Religous Encounter of all the men and women religious of the two dioceses of Santiago y Añatuya which happened in Santiago on July 2-4 (Friday-Sunday) 2010. I attended on Friday and Saturday but returned to the parish on Saturday evening for celebrating the masses of Sunday in the parish. Fr Fernando being the president of the Religious of the diocese of Santiage remained during the whole program, and arrived on Sunday evening after finishing the whole program. On Sunday it was a diologue with the bishops of the dioceses and the final concelebrated Mass together with them. Since it was weekend program and winter vacation has started already, on 4 men religious participated in the program. There were 5 Indian sisters from the Charles Borromeo community came to participate the program. On Saturday it was the football match between Argentina and Germany, and the program was stopped to see the match in the TV from 11 am to 1 pm, and it was an exciting view, ended with the loss of Argentina, and that sadness was present in the faces of everybody. Some of the photos are taken of the anxious watching of the TV. Argentina had the hope to win the world cup, and football is the only thing Argentina is known  internationally, and they will die for it. There were various presentations by speakers too and very enriching too. The photos were taken by a Dorothean sister from La Banda, who is also part of the facilitating team of this encounter from Santiago diocese together with Fr Fernando.
